Art Dubai exhibits the artistic skills of several artists across the globe. There are four main gallery sections: Contemporary, Modern, Bawwaba and Art Dubai Digital. NFT artwork will be a unique addition to the digital section. The festival which starts on March 11 and ends on March 13 will introduce a new section – Digital Gallery – to viewers.
Some of the digital and NFT artwork titles include DASTAN X NFTation, Keumsan Gallery, Emergeast, Cyber Baat, and Institut.
Besides the four-section gallery, the exhibition will also feature artwork from Asian communities such as NFT Asia, who are welcome to bring their art products to the site. NFT Asia is an open and inclusive community focused on inspiring artists and creatives based in Asia.
The Art Dubai Digital section will be curated by Chris Fussner, a New York-based cultural researcher from the Tropical Futures Institute.
Meanwhile, Art Dubai Contemporary will exhibit artworks from around the world, including those from emerging art scenes and established centres.
Art Dubai Modern will feature works of art by modern masters from the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia (MENASA) region. This section will feature exceptional works of art by 20th century artists capturing specific geohistorical contexts.
Bawwaba — “Gateway” in Arabic, will feature works of art created over the past few years.
Surprisingly, this edition of Art Dubai promises to be the largest with over 100 exhibitors from 44 different countries. Plus, as the event will be launching digital art, chances are viewers will be captivated. People can explore NFTs, cryptocurrency, metaverse, video arts, and virtual reality creations in the exhibition.
