With Presidents Day weekend approaching (not to mention Valentine’s Day this Sunday), now is the perfect time to hunt for deals on some of your favorite products. And that includes video games. Right now, Amazon and Target are offering buy-2-get-1-free deals on a wide selection of titles for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox.
We highlight some of them below, along with some killer PlayStation 4 deals from Walmart and GameStop.
Even if you haven’t been lucky enough to land a PS5, there are still plenty of new titles to play for your PlayStation 4. In fact, one of the latest and greatest games for the system to date is just $30 $ right now. It would be Spider-Man: Miles Moraleswhich is kind of a follow up to 2018 Marvel’s Spiderman. Players of this game may recall that Miles had powers at the end, and this title becomes his first adventure. It’s not quite a full sequel, but that just means it’s short and sweet, perfect for busy adults to play their game.
One player says he will “play it again and again and again”. But even older players had a blast, with one saying it’s a ton of fun and lets me fulfill my fantasy of running around the neighborhood in tights while fighting crime. A little weird, but that’s what video games are for!

Released last fall judgment lost is a detective story (people who brought us 2019 Judgement and 2020s Yakuza: like a dragon) that will have you walking the streets of Tokyo and Yokohama to solve a murder mystery. Sneak, engage in combat and even hunt down hidden objects with your trusty dog - this is a game that really lets you put yourself in the shoes of a private detective. And even though it’s only a few months old, this thrilling title is only $37 on Amazon right now, on top of the 3-for-2 sale.
Early player reviews are good, with one calling it “dark but fun with twists, keeping it interesting at all times.” And, while it’s technically a sequel, you can still enjoy it even if you haven’t played the first one, as one buyer says it’s “not exactly a shocking transformation of the first game, the mechanics are pretty much the same, just tweaked and/or added, but the game’s narrative takes quite a different approach and the new possibilities at school are exciting.” If you like mysteries, this seems to suit you!

Not a buy-2-get-1-free offer; it’s more of a 3-in-1 anthology. At this point, Grand Theft Auto III and his immediate successors, city of vice and San Andreas, are certified classics, among the titles that every gamer should know. Haven’t joined the gang yet? Well, this set includes all three GTA installments at a very low price, with improved graphics and controls for your modern PlayStation 4.
These improvements have their admirers among Amazon reviewers, with gamers like this calling the collection “excellent” and that “all three games look and control better than the vanilla originals (which I also own on multiple systems) Unless you have played alone versions modified before that, you will notice all the improvements made to the originals. This M-rated game is a family affair, as Greek deity fighter Kratos decides to leave the world he knows behind in favor of the colder, calmer north to raise his son in peace. But that tranquility doesn’t last long when he and the kid get mixed up in the affairs of the gods and giants, forcing this ancient god to take back his axe. This greatest hits edition of the acclaimed title is now just $14.
Players are super excited about this one: “This game has an epic storyline following Kratos and his son, which intertwines beautifully with the previous one. God of the war Games. You will appreciate the graphics and the evolution of the characters. You’ll be like a fish hooked on a hook and you won’t be able to put down your remote. Buy it. Play it. To like. I can’t wait for the next one.”

It’s been almost five years since The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was released on Nintendo Switch, and we don’t know when the sequel will arrive. Fortunately, there are games like Immortals Fenyx Rising to scratch your itch for an immersive open world and epic story. The PlayStation 4 version is only $25, a markdown of $35!
One player loved the whole experience: “As a big fan of Zelda games and Horizon Zero Dawn, this game got me hooked from the start. The open world map is huge and totally explorable since you have the ability to climb and slide virtually anywhere. There are also tons of puzzles! I absolutely loved the gameplay and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun way to spend rainy/gloomy days indoors.”
